We're Casey and Katie, a husband and wife team who started Oak and Ocean Building on a simple belief: that the best homes come from genuine relationships, honest communication and a builder who treats your project like it's their own.

Oak and Ocean Building is a family-run building company led by Casey and Katie, alongside a small team who genuinely care about the homes we create and the people we build them for.
We believe the best projects come from good relationships. That means being approachable, communicating openly, taking pride in the details and working collaboratively with our clients, team, trades and design partners from the very beginning.
We're intentionally a hands-on team. Casey remains closely involved in each project, supported by our carpenters and trusted network of trades and consultants, while Katie keeps everything moving behind the scenes. It means our clients know the people building their home and have a team around them who are genuinely invested in the outcome.
Today, we bring that approach to custom new homes, major renovations and Design & Build projects across the Tweed Coast, Northern Rivers and Southern Gold Coast.

Casey
Principal BuilderWith decades of hands-on experience, Casey learned his craft on Sydney's Northern Beaches alongside some of the region's most respected builders. Construction runs deep in his family, he follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and uncle, and that legacy shows in his genuine passion for creating homes that feel thoughtful, functional and built to last.
Katie
Operations & Client ExperienceKatie's background in operations and business management forms the foundation of the client experience at Oak and Ocean Building, ensuring every project is approached with organisation, care and clear communication from beginning to end. Her focus is making sure every client feels informed, supported and confident throughout their build.
Together, Casey and Katie bring together an experienced team of builders, trades and industry professionals who share their values, grounded, genuine and community focused, to guide every project from concept through to completion.

In 2025, Oak and Ocean Building was recognised as Australian Trades Champion Builder, a reflection of the standard we hold ourselves to on every project, from the first conversation through to handover. It's a credential we take seriously, not as a marketing badge, but as a benchmark we work to maintain on every home we build.
We're proud to have been nominated again in 2026 in the Champion Builder category, and just as proud that our own Harry has been nominated for Champion Tradie this year. Recognition like this reflects the whole team, not just the two of us.
